Our new addition

No, not another child, nor has my son discovered some part of human anatomy that has helped him make the leap to "threes."* My husband ran out this morning to see what kind of President's Day leftovers he could find, and came back with a new dishwasher!

It's a really nice model, and quiet enough that the littl'un slept through the inaugural wash.

And it also has a delayed start feature. Which is great for my dogs, really.

CARD: Hey, Molly, do you remember that time we were hanging out in the kitchen?

MOLLY: Yeah...

CARD: And we were waiting for Mom and Dad to come back?

MOLLY: Yeah...

CARD: And the dishwasher suddenly turned on all by itself???

MOLLY: Yeah.

CARD: That was weird.

MOLLY: Yeah. Can I lick your ears obsessively for a while?
